On October 30, a training on the topic "The impact of financial literacy on a successful career" was held on the occasion of International Savings Day, at the joint initiative of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumgayit State University, Career and Alumni Center and AccessBank. Dean of the faculty, associate professor Logman Abdullayev opened the event and welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of the training. He noted that this event organized by AccessBank on the topic of finance is of great importance in terms of supporting the professional orientation of students. At the same time, it has a positive impact on the future career development of students and contributes to the formation of their practical knowledge and skills. The dean also spoke about the existing collaboration between AccessBank and the university and the opportunities for students to do internships at the bank. Then, Head of Education and Development Department of AccessBank, Khumar Huseynova made presentations on “Financial Literacy”, Head of Business Partnership Department, Ilhama Rustamli, on “Sustainable Development, Career Planning”, and PR and Internal Communications Manager, Ulviyya Ismayilova, on “PR for Entrepreneurs: Not a Luxury, but a Necessity”. The speakers provided information on the role of financial literacy in personal development and career planning, making sound financial decisions, safe banking transactions, as well as the proper use of digital banking services, and the importance of public relations. During the training, numerous questions from students regarding financial markets, personal budget management, effective use of banking services, and various projects were answered.
