Our student successfully participated in the Bootcamp program
A fourth-year student of the Faculty of Engineering, Farid Mammadov participated in the Bootcamp program organized within the framework of the project “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture”. The first stage of the training program was held at Mingachevir State University. Here, the participants gained theoretical knowledge on the application of digitalization and artificial intelligence technologies in agriculture, and also got acquainted with the stages of the cotton processing and yarn production technologies during an excursion to the Mingachevir Industrial Park. The next stage of the Bootcamp took place in the Saatli district. Under the leadership of Head of the Department of Automation and Mechanics, Professor Javanshir Mammadov Farid Mammadov presented his project “Irrigation of Tea Plantation with Artificial Intelligence Technology”. As part of the event, the participants held meetings with the Rector of Mingachevir State University, the Head of the Saatli District Executive Power, and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the presentation, detailed information was provided about the purpose of the project, the applied technological solutions, and the contributions that artificial intelligence can make to increasing the efficiency of agriculture. The project was met with great interest by participants and experts. At the end of the program, students gained valuable knowledge and experience in the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies in the agricultural sector, innovative management methods, and the development of digital skills.
