On November 14, an educational seminar was held at Sumgayit State University on the advantages of the Civil Service: Changes and future plans with the participation of the employees of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Director of the Career and Alumni Center, Anar Dunyamaliyev opened the event, greeted the guests and gave information about the purpose of the seminar to the participants. He emphasized that the event is of great importance in terms of increasing the interest of the youth for the civil service, providing students with information about this field, support them in career planning. After that, senior advisor in Ministry of the Labour and Social Protection of Population, Hasanaga Huseynov made a speech and spoke about legal basis of the civil service system, existing opportunities for civil servants, admission procedures, examination and selection mechanisms, the stages of interview. He spoke about the civil service recruitment process is carried out on the basis of the principles of transparency and equal opportunities, and spoke about the growing role of young people in public administration. Seminar has proceeded interactively, numerous questions of the students were answered. A number of recommedations were given to the the youth about preparation for the civil service, exam strategies and career development.
