A seminar called “One teacher – one student”
On November 21, a seminar called “A teacher – a student” was held jointly organized by the Teaching and Methodological Center and the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations. Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations, associate professor Khayala Seyfullayeva opened the event with an introductory speech and emphasized the importance of such events in the students’ developments, the formation of the vocational orientation and the creation of the healthy scientific environment, and she called on students to benefit from this seminar. A fourth-year student of the Mathematics Faculty, Rasim Elesgerov presented the report that was prepared under the supervision of doctor of philosophy, Telman Gasimov. He presented his researches on the topic of “Various spectral problems for linear differential equations of the fourth order and their application to boundary value problems for special differential equations” and demonstrated the solution of the problem visually. In the end, he answered the students’ questions. Then, director of the Teaching Methodological Center, doctor of philosophy in economics, Elnara Mammadova emphasized the importance of the seminar and noted that the supervision and the support of the teachers in this process play a great role in the development of the students. Ultimately, Dean of the Mathematics Faculty, associate professor Khalide Seyfullayeva noted that such events benefit in order to improve the students’ scientific skills and thanked for the organizing the event.
