On December 4, a joint lesson was held at the Faculty of Mathematics with the joint initiative of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations of Sumgayit State University (SSU) and the Department of Mathematics and Its Teaching Method of Atyrau State University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov, Kazakhstan. Head of the Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations Department, associate professor Khayala Seyfullayeva opened the event, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of the scientific-pedagogical cooperation between the two universities. Then, professor of the Mathematics and Its Teaching Method Department of Atyrau State University, candidate of technical sciences, Aygul Mirzasheva and teacher of the Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations Department of Sumgayit State University, doctor of philosophy in mathematics, Leyla Nasirova presented a joint lesson to the students. They took turns explaining the four methods of constructing Zhegalkin polynomial and held interactive discussions to deepen their understanding of the topic. Director of the Teaching Methodological Center, doctor of philosophy in economics, Elnara Mammadova noted that the class was organized professionally, and such joint initiatives make a great contribution to the students’ scientific outlook and learning motivation. At the end of the event, dean of the Mathematics Faculty, associate professor, Khalide Hasanova expressed her gratitude to the organizers and teachers who visited, and wished this successful cooperation would continue.
