On December 4, an educational info session was held at Sumgayit State University (SSU) for the students who study on a paid basis, by the Eduaction Student Loan Fund. Vice-rector for Science and Innovations, associate professor Elshad Abdullayev emphasized that consistent and purposeful measures are being implemented to increase the accessibility of education in our country. He spoke about the advantages of the Education Student Loan Fund, one of the main participants in this process. He noted that the fund has been closely cooperating with SSU since its inception. He noted that the state annually increases the number of places on the plan, pays tuition fees for students with status, and other social support mechanisms create wide opportunities for students. At the end of his speech, Elshad Abdullayev called on students to make the most of the existing opportunities. Then, Deputy Chairman of the Education Student Loan Fund, Rufat Taghizade spoke and provided information about the Fund's activities, types of loans offered, and wide opportunities created for students. He emphasized that the main mission of the fund is to ensure social equality in financing education and support every young person in equal enjoyment of the right to education. Then, a senior specialist in the Department of Work with Educational Institutions of the fund, Ilkane Hamidli made a presentation. She noted that the application process is carried out completely electronically, and students can apply through their personal account. She also provided detailed information about the rules for loan repayment, grace periods, and benefits provided to socially vulnerable groups. The meeting continued with a question-and-answer session, and the questions addressed were answered in detail by the fund's employees.
