The event, organized by the Sumgayit city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), was held under the topic "Meeting of Generations: The future of the party is in safe hands". The event was attended by the Acting Rector of Sumgayit State University, Aminaga Sadigov, and other university employees. First, the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country, was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. The head of the Sumgayit City Executive Power, Zakir Farajov, Deputy Head of the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party, Ahliman Tagiyev, member of the NAP Board of Directors and chairman of the Sumgayit city organization, Ramiz Huseynov, member of the NAP Board of Directors and deputy of the Milli Majlis, Tahir Mirkishili, also young party activist, teacher at Sumgayit State University Gunel Shamilzade spoke at the event. The speeches emphasized the path of formation of the New Azerbaijan Party, the political legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the successes achieved by our country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the role of youth in political processes, and the importance of intergenerational succession. It was noted that educating young people in a spirit of loyalty to the ideas of statehood is one of the main conditions for the sustainable development of the country.
