Students' educational excursion to the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan
On December 24, an educational excursion was organized for students to the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan at the initiative of the Department of History of Azerbaijan and Eastern European Peoples.
The purpose of the excursion was to increase students' interest in national and spiritual values, expand their knowledge about various stages of Azerbaijani history, and consolidate the acquired theoretical knowledge based on real historical exhibits.
The students got acquainted with the various exhibition halls of the museum and obtained detailed information about the historical development path of our country from primitive times to the present day, statehood traditions, archaeological finds, examples of material and cultural heritage, and rare historical documents. The scientific staff of the museum provided interesting and comprehensive information about the historical and scientific significance of the exhibits, the process of their discovery, research, and preservation. In conclusion, the students emphasized that such educational events made a significant contribution to the formation of their scientific worldview, the growth of research interests, and the strengthening of the consciousness of national identity.
