On February 24, a scientific report seminar was held at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumgayit State University (SSU) at the initiative of the Department of Business Management. The event was dedicated to the results of Professor Shafa Aliyev"s mission to Atyrau University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov in Kazakhstan within the framework of the "International Teacher Exchange: Kazakhstan Experience" program. Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Logman Abdullayev opened the seminar, and said that such international exchange programs are of great importance in strengthening scientific and pedagogical relations between universities. He especially emphasized that the expansion of international relations at the university, the promotion of cooperation of teachers and researchers with foreign universities is being carried out consistently and purposefully under the leadership of the Acting Rector of SSU, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov. The Dean expressed his gratitude to the Acting Rector for the attention and support shown in the creation of international exchange opportunities and the integration of the university into the global academic space.

Professor Shafa Aliyev gave information about the work she did during the mission. She noted that within the framework of the program, she conducted lectures and practical classes on various subjects, organized scientific seminars and master classes. Interactive methods and practical examples were used in the lessons on the subjects of "State Regulation of the National Economy" and "Economy of the Firm". As part of the visit, a scientific and practical seminar was organized on the rules for preparing articles in journals indexed in the Scopus database, and discussions were held with young researchers on academic writing and publication strategies. Also, issues of conducting joint scientific research, preparing joint projects and continuing academic exchange were discussed during meetings with the university administration. Director of the Teaching Methodological Center, Associate Professor Elnara Mammadova, Associate Professors of the Faculty of Economics and Management Galib Huseynov and Imran Amirov, as well as Gulnar Huseynova, an employee of the Department of International Cooperation and Strategic Projects, emphasized the importance of applying the experience gained during the visit in the teaching process. They expressed their gratitude to Professor Shafa Aliyev for representing the university at a high level.

The seminar continued with discussions, and the students" questions were answered in detail. ‎
