The conference, which took place from April 19 to 26, brought together leading scientists from around the world, focusing on the future development of superconductivity, magnetism, quantum materials, and energy technologies.

The event was attended by nearly 800 scientists and researchers from 61 countries, and scientific sessions held in 10 parallel halls widely discussed modern technological innovations, fundamental physics, and promising materials for alternative energy applications. Khayala Aliguliyeva made a presentation on the topic of “Influence of Fe Intercalation on Phonon and Charge Carrier Dynamics in Bi₂Te₃ Topological Insulator” within the framework of the conference. The study is of great scientific importance in terms of the development of new functional materials for energy-efficient electronics, thermoelectric devices, and alternative energy systems through the study of the dynamics of energy carriers in topological insulator materials. The scientific discussions held during the presentation demonstrated the relevance of the research and created conditions for the expansion of international scientific cooperation opportunities. An official certificate was presented to the participant for the presentation. The chairman of the organizing committee of the conference, with Prof. Dr. Ali Gencher the prospects of scientific cooperation were discussed, and a commemorative gift was presented on behalf of Sumgayit State University. A meeting was held with Azerbaijani scientist Professor Iman Askerzadeh for his support in organizing the conference and the participation of Azerbaijani scientists, and views were exchanged on future scientific cooperation opportunities.

A number of international academic meetings were also held within the framework of the visit: Joint scientific projects, academic exchange and cooperation prospects were discussed at the meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Ankara University; Pakistani scientist Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anis-ur-Rehman proposed cooperation on conducting joint scientific research; A young Colombian researcher expressed his desire to get acquainted with the scientific management model of Sumgayit State University and visit the university. It should be noted that participation in international scientific conferences makes a significant contribution to the integration of the scientific results of university employees into the world scientific space, the establishment of new scientific relations in the field of alternative energy and high technologies, as well as strengthening the international academic reputation of Sumgayit State University.
