On April 15-17, 2026, the Perm National Research Polytechnic University hosted an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Chemistry. Ecology. Urbanism” (“Химия. Экология. Урбанистика”). The conference served as an important platform for discussing issues of science, innovation, improving personnel training for the modern chemical industry, as well as increasing the attractiveness of science and education in the modern world. The main goal of the event was to involve bachelor"s, master"s and doctoral students in scientific research activities, develop a research culture, create conditions for students to realize their potential, and also encourage their participation in solving existing problems in their future professional and scientific activities. A first-year master"s student in the Chemical Engineering department at SSU, Eltaj Mustafayev was awarded a second-degree diploma for the high scientific level and practical significance of his report at the international scientific and practical conference "Chemistry. Ecology. Urbanistics" organized within the framework of the II International Scientific and Technical Forum "ParmaTech–2026". He made a presentation on the topic "MICRO VS NANO: Influence of Corn Husk Particle Size on Tensile Strength of Ethylene/1-Hexene Copolymer-Based Composite" in the English-language section of the conference. It should be noted that the research work was conducted under the scientific supervision of Fatima Mustafayeva, associate professor of the Department of Ecology and Chemical Engineering at SSU, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry.
