Blood donation event was hold at our university by Sumgait branch of Red Crescent and Sumgait State University for hemophilia and thalassemia diseases under the slogan “Give blood, give life” this year. Students and teachers stuff of university and other delegations of different organizations in Sumgait were active voluntary in this event. The aim of this event is to support to patients suffers from lack of blood, and if it is necessary to provide blood need for injured soldiers in front line and enlighten the youth about these dieases. Special medical commandos, doctors-hematologists are sent on an assignment to university by Central Blood Bank. Finally, the students noted that they are proud of their participation in this event.
