An event took place within the frame of the project on “E-Waste Box” by Youth Fund under President of Azerbaijan Republic in the Youth Center of Sumgait. That project has been realized by mutual efforts of Youth and Sports head office, Students’ Youth Organization of Sumgait State University, The Youth Union of New Azerbaijan Party and Initiative Group of Sumgait Youth and Healthy Future.
Making a speech in the seminar the head of the project Elvin Gulmammadov notified that the means of communication technology is not only playing a significant role in the life of the people but also creating some several problems such as electron waste product which is a great of importance.
He spoke about the damagesof those waste products in the frame of the project, reflecting on atmosphere, environment and health of people and emphasized an importance of enlightening works in order to avoid it.
EldarMuzaffarov has widely explained about contamination of atmosphere and nature in the results of the products such as computer technology, energy carries, batteries and etc. to be wasted into environment.
Finally, some waste platforms were supplied withboxes under the name “Waste Box”   and the enlightening pamphlets published within the frame of the project were distributed to inhabitants by volunteers.
