On March 2, SSU hosted a meeting of students with leaders of enterprises of Chemical Industry such as a head of Supervisory Board of “Azerkimya” PU, the member of National Parliament Mr. Mukhtar Babayev, the director of Chemical Industrial Park Mr. Nazim Samedov, the financial director of SOCAR Polymer Mr. Fuad Akhmadov, the head of Ethylene – Polyethylene factory attached to Azerkimya PU Mr. Ogtay Niftaliyev and the director of “Karbamid” factory of SOCAR Mr. Xayall Jafarov.
The rector of the university made a speech in the meeting. He welcomed the guests to the university and widely spoke about the works being realized for the development of the education field of the country. He notified that the mutual relations play a significant role for the establishment of mutual cooperation. At present, our university enjoys the good relations with different enterprises, which in its turn, will contribute to mutual preparation of qualified cadre. For instance, recently, our university established the business deals with the enterprises of Sumgait Park of Technologies and Azerkimya PU. Besides, the university experienced the negotiations with the Institute of Polymer Materials attached to ANAS, which were dedicated to the scientific cooperation in the range of education-science-production. And meanwhile, in the recent days the university has concluded cooperation agreement with the Training Center of “Azerisiq” ASC. It should be noted the university is sending in regular the students to the local production enterprises for the training purposes, namely in order they to apply their theoretical knowledge. The students are also enjoying training process in “Pekim” Petrochemical Holding in Turkey which realized by the initiative of Azerkimya PU. Organization of such kind of activities is not only providing the students with the new experiences but also give a chance to those students who are wishing to work there. It also a good chance for the students that they can enjoy the combination of theoretical and practical skills which will promote their being professionals. The rector notified that, currently, the power of the developed countries based on human resources either in economical-political or in cultural-social fields. That is why, relying on slogan of the President “We should transform our oil capital into our human capital”, our key goal is to improve the human capital and thereby to increase an international competitiveness ability of Azerbaijan. In these respect, the Carrier Center of the University made a lot works towards the students meet all standards of the labor market. The rector finalized his speech with the words as follows: “I hope that such kind of meetings will promote students and enterprises”. 
The guests made a speech during the meeting as well and widely spoke about the reforms in the enterprises under their leadership. They notified that a knowledge and an ability is always a great of importance for the carrier of them.
The head of Supervisory Board of “Azerkimya” PU, the member of National Parliament Mr. Mukhtar Babayev notified that these relations will contribute not only the students but also the sphere of the chemistry. He noted that PU set as one of the key goals in terms of its cadre preparation program to develop close relations with the high schools, producing the personnel in the field of chemistry and to arrange proper conditions for the summer production training of the students. Hereinafter, the speakers have answered to all questions of the students. 
 Afterwards, the meeting get started to discuss the clauses of Cooperation Memorandum to be concluded between the parties, the mutual projects and the scientific cooperation deals. Hereinafter, the rector of SSU and the head of Supervisory Board of Azerkimya have concluded the cooperation memorandum. According to the agreement, the parties are committed to cooperate in the field of science, education and technique, to realize mutual enlightening programs, to run training exchange, to arrange improvement and renewal courses, to run an exchange of experiences in the field of new technologies, to develop the different fields related to the scientific-technical deals, to arrange production activities of proper specialties of bachelor degree, to take part as the partners in all international projects to be held at the university, to arrange the exclusive lectures by the leading specialists for the students, to arrange jointly the local and international conferences and etc.
