Our country is currently enjoying some several events dedicated to the improvement and preservation of ecological balance in the country. For these purposes, on April 8, SSU has held its regular neighborhood clean-up. In recent years our university is running large construction, restoration and renovation works. Thus, in the territory of the university were fixed light poles meeting all modern standards, the fences and sidewalks were restored, were fixed new benches, was constructed ground chess board, artificial football, volleyball and basketball playgrounds, pavilion for table games and etc. 
The rector of the university has also joined to that event together with academic staff and students and they planted a lot of trees and flower bushes in the territory of the university. The personnel have attended this event with a great pleasure. The key goal of such events is to increase an interest of the people in order to protect an environment, to set new green places and look after them. 
A clean-up event, arranged on the occasion of spring, ended with the good working mood. After the clean-up process the students’ sportsmen demonstrated their abilities in the different kinds of sport and the talented ones performed some several songs. 
Always being an active of Sumgait city neighboring clean-up process, the personnel SSU once gain were distinguished during the clean-up in the territory of the university.
