On May 22, the event entitled “Economists of Tomorrow” was held devoted to 28 May Republic Day, with the organization of the faculty of economics and management in Assembly hall of the university. The Faculty dean of economics and management ass prof. Aynura Yahyayeva opened the ceremony and spoke about meetings, scientific and international conferences held by the faculty. She also gave a wide information about intellectual competitions which the students demonstrated their knowledge and ability as well as about their success. The dean notified that, all these achievements are the result of care and attention of rector, Professor Elkhan Huseynov.
Aynura Yahyayeva spoke about the importance of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic which was first worldly, democratic state of Muslim East. She mentioned during her speech that, great leader Heydar Aliyev who was leading Azerbaijan more than 30 years had made decisive steps not only in social, but also in political and economic spheres. He was a person who had a great and significant role in economic development of Azerbaijan. During his first years of power Heydar Aliyev carried large-scale activities for improvement of Azerbaijan economy. Thus, these works lightened the way of our country to the world by proving nation’s confidence to the future. By the initiative and organization of President Mr. Ilham Aliyev State Program are conducted on socio-economic development of regions. Economic cooperation is established with several countries of the world. Our country hosts significant international events. All these achievements are the result of Heydar Aliyev and as well the successor of his policy, President Mr. Ilham Aliyev’s activity.
Ass prof. Aynura Yahyayeva emphasized that, the main object of organizing this event is to demonstrate unity of students and teachers as well as to display the abilities of economists not only in economics, but also in other amateur fields.
