On December 12, the event was held in the Faculty of Chemistry and biology dedicated to the commemoration day of Great leader Heydar Aliyev. His memory was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Associate professor Mahal Muradov, the dean of the Faculty widely spoke about historical services of Heydar Aliyev and his domestic and foreign policy run for preserving our statehood. He also notified that, Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern independent Azerbaijan, determined the economic and political policy of our country, conducted significant projects for the development of our Republic and paid special attention and care to our culture, science and education.
Poet-publicist Avaz Mahmud Laladagh and the students spoke about the works done in the rule of Heydar Aliyev for the growth of our country, for strengthening our statehood and national cadre preparation, for expressing realities of Azerbaijan to the world, for promoting and preserving our national and spiritual values.
The speakers emphasized that, successful realization of the policy of Great leader by President Ilham Aliyev strengthens our sovereignty, reinforces statehood and increases the role and reputation of Azerbaijan Republic in the international arena.
In the end the documentary was demonstrated devoted to the life and political activity of Heydar Aliyev.
