Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov signed an order for organizing exam session of spring semester of 2017/2018 academic year according to existing rules in educational institutions and for providing transparency and objectivity in estimation of students’ knowledge. Preparation works are conducted for ensuring objectivity and transparency in exams due to the execution of the order in Sumgayit State University. On June 4, rector of University Professor Elkhan Huseynov, vice-rectors, head of Teaching office and deans observed exam process on faculties. Rector cared about attitude of students toward exam process and reviewed normative documents. He noted that Public Control and Advisory Board was instituted for securing transparency in the period of session and eliminating negative cases, as well as Headquarter and Appellation Committee are functioning. For this purpose the application and suggestion boxes are placed in all teaching buildings of the University. Every student can apply.
The students expressed their satisfaction for created circumstances in the exam process. 
It should be noted that rector of SSU regularly observes exam process and assigns the tasks and recommendations for transparent examinations.
